Did anyone else feel like this week was incredibly long? I think it is this time of year, especially when you live in a place that is incredibly cold. When it is 18 degrees outside, it messes with your motivation - which is why I was moving kind of slow this week. We all have weeks like this right? I sure hope so. This is the first weekend I will be in Chicago in what seems like a long time, and we will be busy celebrating lots of birthdays and wining and dining with friends. What are you up to? Is it cold where you are? What do you wear when you are forced to go outside in 10 degree weather? I don't think that is something anyone can answer - layers, cute boots, and seventeen jackets.

Seventeen jackets, ha! I love it! The weather here in DC has been all over the place this week (68 on Tuesday, 30 this morning), so dressing has been hard! Layers, scarves, gloves, and trying to trick myself into thinking that I like the cold (not going well so far ;) )

ReplyDeleteI'm in Milwaukee girl... I feel you on the cold. Boots are my saving grace in the cold until I can change footwear inside! And isn't getting out of bed during winter the absolute worst?!

ReplyDeleteBoston actually got warm for two days this week. We had highs in the 50s. Unfortunately it was pouring rain during those two days and now we are back to 20s and 30s, so I'm right there with you. Though I'm definitely getting sick of my boots and coats!

i'm in san diego and everyone has been complaining about our weather recently. but now it's back to 70s. i think if it ever got down to your temps, people would completely panic. but then again our houses aren't made for cold. like mine, that has no heat and single pane windows.

Yes, seriously the worst week! I caught the flu a few days ago and at the worst time EVER since I am heading to NYC on Tuesday!! It's freezing cold here which makes me want to stay inside by a fire, sipping hot chocolate and snuggled in a blanket. Have a great weekend!!
