{feathers and a dreamy bag}
What is it about the new year that makes you want to start over? I wrote this post, in hopes that I finally streamline and gain some focus into my ever evolving style, but sometimes it's fun to think about fashion risks. Items to add to your closet that are immediate conversation starters. Items that help build those seriously enviable closets that we dream about.
{floral dresses and fun sunnies}
{chic trousers and a fun clutch}
{metallic oxfords and an awesome blazer}
{embellishments and bold prints}
What kind of risks are you willing to add to your wardrobe?

This is my resolution this year to wear things I always admire on others but don't think I could pull off..with in reason of course!
ReplyDeleteI think my "fashion risks" items are the hardest for me to spend money on. Then they become my most loved items in my closet and ones that hold the best memories
ReplyDeleteinspiring! i did do a "back to basics" post last week and now im contemplating on a "sequins for day" blog post - LOL! talking about risks!
ReplyDeleteI'm totally obsessed with the metallic oxfords. I may need to add a pair to my shoe closet!
ReplyDeleteLove these looks. I think a lot of the items could be staples...why not? :) Most people can pull off more than they give themselves credit for.
ReplyDeleteMetallic oxfords!?!? Yes, please!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the floral dress and fun sunnies. These are such lovely pictures.
ReplyDeleteAhh Pinterest.

Love all these combinations and totally agree that it's worth finding those statement pieces, whether they be investments or affordable vintage finds...because they are great for mixing in with basics you already own for a swoon-worthy closet!

I was just thinking about how I can add some risky yet adventurous additions to my wardrobe. I think the way to go is backless this year. Definitely a little risqué but totally worth the wow effect it creates at parties and events. I can't wait to see what additions you make this year!

It's fun to take risks in our wardrobes! Every once in awhile I buy something that really stands out and I have to say it's a ton of fun!
ReplyDeleteI have been dreaming of the blazer from that first picture since I laid eyes on it! Gorgeous images!

love that little blue bag :)
ReplyDeleteTaking risks is one of my biggest fashion challenges. But this post is inspiring! The statement blazer, leopard pants and cozy sweater (okay that part isn't a risk) all caught my eye!
