Colder weather is all about comfortable layers. I like to have a few items that I can dress up or down, a jacket for every occasion, cute outdoor accessories, and few feminine pieces for holiday festivities and to pair with edgier and/or less structured items. Here are a few favorites from across the web!

  11. Hi Liz! First let me say that I LOVE your blog. It's one of my absolute favs and I look forward to reading it every day. Now, a bit of warning for you and your readers...those GAP loafers gave me the worst blisters I have ever had in my life...and the even sadder part? I only walked three blocks to the el in them! I picked them up last month and haven't worn them since because my feet were in bad shape for weeks after that solo trek to the blue line. It's too bad because they are adorable. :( Just wanted to give you the head's up.

  16. Love you picks - and I actually wanted to ask the same question as Natasha above... what are you thoughts on Dorothy Perkins? Shipping times? quality? Cause if it is a smart buy, that coat needs to come home to mama!
