Justified

I know Equipment blouses are nothing new in the blogosphere. However, I never really jumped on the bandwagon because I always felt like I could purchase similar tops at half the price. But I have to say I am pretty smitten with their novelty pieces and recently indulged in two for myself {this and this}. Not only are they tailored to be feminine and soft, but the quality of silk is unmatchable. They seriously feel like butter. So if you are like me, and tend to dress pretty polished when it comes to your fall wardrobe, I would recommend investing in this staple. I can't wait to wear mine with a pretty leather skirt for fall and denim shorts for now.

What kind of pieces do you justify splurging on?

  2. I love them all. It's nice that they all have loose cuts. The last thing you want in the summer is skin tight tops.

  3. they are so addicting! i was like you and didn't figure i needed to spend that on a plain blouse, but i got one on sale and that was that! i'm really wanting the white sleeveless top. i need shopbop to have a sale so i can snatch it up. question: what size do you have? i feel like they typically run big.

  6. I justify splurging on pieces that are classic and I'll get a lot of use out of such as jeans, bags, shoes or nice jewelry. I have to know it will never go out of style!

  7. It's really hard to beat Equipment blouses! Love the second one. I feel like if I splurge on something but then wear it often, then it's totally justified!! xoxo

  9. I love their blouses so much. I love the ones you chose. I personally have always gone for the classics (I have the signature in nude, navy, and white...) but I would really love to round things out with the anchors or python!

  15. Those are all so pretty! I can't quite justify splurging on blouses quite yet...I tend to splurge on shoes, handbags, and other accessories that I know I can wear multiple times each week. I have to feel like I'll get my money's worth!

  19. I've had an Equipment shirt on my list for a while now- hoping for a sale to catch a little break! I nearly collect silk shirts.

  20. I love those tops, but I still don't think I can justify purchasing a shirt that costs more the $250! Maybe a bag, but def not a top!

  21. I die for Equipment blouses. My first major splurge was on their cream signature blouse, three later with two in the mail (including the snakeskin beauty you posted above), I'm addicted! Be prepared to get hooked!
