Tibi Layers
Remember this Tibi dress that the blogosphere loved so much? Well, thanks to Natalie, I was recently informed that this dress is actually a skirt and a cami. Although the pieces are lovely, I am disappointed that this dreamy "dress" isn't a dress. There is this dress in the same Arizona print, which is another adorable option.
Would you wear the cami + skirt combo?

Tibi, whyyyyyy do you want me to go broke?!?!?! xxoxo
ReplyDeleteI am sad its not a dress. Thinking about just ordering the Cami. Ill let you know if I order and what I think!
ReplyDeleteI like the cami/maxi because it gives you so many different options. I ordered the cami but cannot pull the trigger on the maxi. It is a little otu of my budget. :(
ReplyDeleteI agree- wish it was just a full maxi. But love Tibi!
ReplyDeleteI think I would wear the combo. It's cute together, and then you could wear it separately as well! I vote yes.
ReplyDeleteI love the print, but I'm with you. I don't love the whole cami and skirt idea...
ReplyDeleteI like the fact that it is in two pieces because that gives you the option of mixing it with more things but as a dress it was a show stopper. I would love to have both of these pieces in my closet but not in my budget. one can dream.
ReplyDeleteI have to say I'm in love! I'm a little disappointed that it's a cami and a maxi--but agree with beescloset that you can have the option of mixing it with other things and have that many more options! Obsessed!

I have to agree with you Liz, a little disappointed it is not a dress. Could wear it as one but then you have to buy two pieces instead of one and Tibi is way too spendy for that!
ReplyDeleteI love the combo better than the dress! Faking a dress seems to be trending... J.Crew does it this season as well!

Whoooooah nelly I love whatever fabric it can come in!
ReplyDeleteI'm planning on ordering the tank -- it's gorgeous! So sad that it's not a dress, though.
ReplyDeleteI'm so sad that it's not a dress! However, I could still be convinced to buy both because it is fabulous!

I love it! So perfect for Spring/Summer!!

Gorgeous dress girl! Loved reading about your skin care routine too- I always love seeing what everyone else uses - gives me great suggestions - Love your blog!
ReplyDeletewhat a let down! i thought it was a dress. boo!
ReplyDeletexo the egg out west.
Love the print of the fabric! The dress would be such an amazing piece to have.
ReplyDeleteI actually liked that it wasn't a dress, more versatile that way, you can wear it with the matching cami or another one ;)
ReplyDeleteThis print is so much fun, but I don't think I would pull it off as the combo. I think the cami would be such a new, fab touch for the spring season ahead!
ReplyDeleteI was quite bummed to hear via Natalie's blog that it was a skirt/cami rather than a dress. I am a huge fan of maxi dresses. Still, it's very cute.
ReplyDeleteIt's a pity it's not a dress - I do love the print but it doesn't have the same impact when the cami is on its own!
ReplyDeleteI think this is a cute combo! It looks like a maxi dress when worn together.
ReplyDeleteI adore these long skirts! Can't wait to get one.
ReplyDeletethe dress is new on rent the runway! i just got the e-mail about it today. what a coincidence! i love the cami, but the maxi is a little pricey.
ReplyDeleteI think its gorgeous and actually like that its two pieces b/c you get more mileage out of it.
ReplyDeleteI was so sad when Natalie posted about it too :( I doubt it would look as good as separates in person - why isn't it a dress!?!

Love the combo - but how versatile to be two pieces! Gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteI think that kinda makes me love it even more. The versatility of having two pieces makes it so much more appealing.
ReplyDeleteI'm in love with this!! I love just the skirt...
ReplyDeletePerfect for mixing and matching! Altho soooo super haute and luxe paired together! Totally my style, loving the graphic pastels!

Aww, that is disappointing. BUT.....I'd still wear it :-)
ReplyDeleteI would have loved it as a dress but I would totally rock the skirt! xo www.frankieheartsfashion.com
ReplyDeletei kinda love that its a skirt and dress combo - its perfection together but they'd both be fun pieces to mix into your wardrobe! now if only they were 50%...
ReplyDeleteI would war this whole ensemble in a second!
ReplyDeleteWow, that is the most fantastic outfit. I'm loving the colors and geometric print.
