Vacation Essentials

In March, I will be leaving chilly Chicago for some time in the sun. I can't remember the last time I took a trip to the beach where my days consisted of walks by the sea, yummy cocktails and sunshine - hence my excitement! However, because I still have 6 weeks until I will be soaking up some rays, I have been obsessively stalking my favorite online stores for a few vacation essentials. Here are a few of my favorite pieces for warmer days to come...

  6. I live in Tampa so it's pretty much always beach time for us. I love that beach tote! I put it on one of my posts a few weeks ago. I'm also a big fan of that hat. My other essentials are fun nail polishes, loads of magazines, sunscreen, a cute pair of denim shorts and a loose white cotton top.

    I'm dying for some beach weather so I'm hoping to hop on down to FL for President's Weekend. Other than that I have New Orleans in March for Js birthday weekend and then nothing until the beach house in the summer. As you can tell I often crave the heat :) xoxo

  22. I'm loving too many things in this post! I'm heading to Club Med in the DR in March and New Orleans two weeks after. I'm looking forward to getting away from the chilly temperatures for a little bit and can't wait to bring out the shorts and sandals!

  27. I'm in the same boat... heading to Miami next weekend for a close friend's bachelorette party... so excited (even though it means missing part of fashion week!) I've picked up a few essentials and will be picking up a few more... summer/vacation clothes are the best. Really love those Asos flat sandals - they look much more high-end than Asos!

  44. Ahh I am going to Aruba in March and I CANNOT WAIT! I had to work all through the holidays so I am so pumped for some relaxing in the sun. I love bringing my kindle, I used to have to pack like 3 books and now I can just finish a book and buy a new one without even leaving my chair!
