Motivation
Staring at these beauties on a daily basis is the best motivation for getting my butt to the gym. Let's just say I did not hold back on one buttery biscuit, piece of pecan pie, glass of wine, cold beer, sugar cookie, or breakfast roll while on holiday so it's time to get in gear for bathing suit season that I'm sure will pop up just around the corner. I feel silly saying that this is a resolution because it is so typical, but it is one that it is on the top of my list!
What gives you the motivation to get in shape or pull you out of a workout rut? I'd love to know!

I hear ya! I'm going to the Maldives in May so need to be in bikini-shape by then for sure!
ReplyDeleteLove that striped one! Yes, when I walked into Target yesterday, they had all the swimsuits out already. :(

need that striped bathing suit!! soo cute!
ReplyDeletewell, coworkers keep me motived (drag me to lunchtime workouts!), knowing that we've got some amazing vacations coming up (Amalfi Coast in May and Greece in June) and any pictures of gorgeous, thin models will also do the trick :) this resolution is also at the top of my list!

ReplyDeleteI pick up Oxygen mag every once in a while. It has great tips and TONS of photos of women totally in shape. If I need to get motivated quickly, I google my old trainer, Lori Harder. That usually does it. I think what being healthy stands for and what going to the gym does for your body is a really great motivator!
ReplyDeletecute suits!! i want to tone up for the wedding..with sooo many photos i feel like it'll be worth it. good luck! xoxo jillian:: cornflake dreams
ReplyDelete#2 will be mine!!
ReplyDeleteI agree with some other comments - bathing suit season keeps me motivated. Last year around this time I took a picture in my suit from front and back and then did Crossfit workouts and ate really clean to see progress. I snapped photos about 4 months later - seeing the tangible progress was a great way to make my healthy lifestyle stick!
ReplyDeleteI bet #3 is good for those ladies (like me) who are petite at the top! Cute choices!
ReplyDeleteThis is the last thing I need to see this morning as I eat lemon cookies with my cup of coffee. Bathing suits keep me motivated. Especially #2.
ReplyDeleteOk this just made me realize how badly I need to get into shape! I love the finds... first two stole my heart! xo
ReplyDeleteOhhh I love these bathing suits! But thinking about how I would look in them is a little scary...
ReplyDeleteI love how I feel when I am done with my workout so that motivates me. As soon as I get home from work, I change immediately because I know if I sit on the couch, I'll get too comfy and won't go.
ReplyDeleteIf you have an iphone, download the Nike Training app. They give you a bunch of great workouts.
I love suits #2 and #3! Great picks!
I love that striped suit with the brown trim. So nice!
ReplyDeleteStripes!!! Ahh that suit is hot hot hot! Kinda loving the red ruffles also... and yes. Talk about motivation!
ReplyDeleteOh no... that's not the same striped suit. Do you know where the one with the brown leather straps came from??
ReplyDeleteOh no! Sorry about that, the link to #2 is updated :)
ReplyDeleteThese are all so cute. Definitely motivation for me also.
ReplyDeleteI'm so not ready to be in a suit, yet.:-/ When I do, though, I hope I'm wearing one of these options. Love!

My motivation is that my beautiful 75 year old grandmother lost 50 lbs last year. She's been an inspiration to my whole family, and definitely has kept me running! Cute suits!
ReplyDeleteeh, bathing suit season is almost here....time to crank up my workouts.
ReplyDelete#1 is super cute!
xo

um how adorable is that first bikini!
ReplyDeleteI love the Vix suit!! So cute and great motivation!!
ReplyDeleteThis post is a little wake-up call... because I would not be comfortable putting on a bikini after this holiday season (food, wine, desserts galore!). Good thing we have time before the weather warms up!
ReplyDeleteI stay motivated by working out with friends (go to yoga together, power walk by the lake, etC)... helps to know someone is doing it alongside you!
You're so right! I love these bathing suits - definitely have to keep my motivation up over these wintery months.

I feel like getting in shape is constantly on my mind. Sometimes food trumps all, but I am definitely motivated to lose a few lbs that I put on last year. :)
ReplyDeleteThat red one is adorable! The first workout is always the worst, but after that it always seems easy to start again... until I take a day off and then can't go back!
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, I would've NEVER guessed that #3 was Old Navy. I LOVE IT! I am trying to keep my motivation up but it is SO hard getting back into the workout routine! My 10 year reunion is in the summer...so that's helping!
ReplyDeleteLOVE #1 and especially love #2. I wish I had a reason to purchase it- like an upcoming beach vacay. Alas, there is only snow in my future.
ReplyDeleteI'm already thinking about my next vacay and summer at the beach. I'm officially motivated! And how adorbes are these? :)
ReplyDeletemaking a motivation board on pinterest & pinning toned bodies or gym routines!
ReplyDeleteLOVE these! #2 is my fav!
ReplyDeleteWhen I am dragging at getting my butt to the gym I look at the Fitness tab on Pinterest... Always works!
