Note to self:
Lately, I have been super inspired by the colorful trouser. I love how this look can be sophisticated for work, chic for a night out, or casually cool for a spring time barbecue. They look great paired with another pop of color, subtle patterns, soft neutrals, or rugged denim and always appear effortlessly styled. I definitely plan on investing in a pair before Spring kicks in, and here are a few styles I am lusting over...
I love the balance between high waist and wide leg of these Alice + Olivia pants but am also loving these Adam pants in poppy red and these Rachel Zoe Tipi pants in purple.
What do you think of this trend?

Loving this look for the spring, and hoping to find a red pair of trousers! I would absolutely settle for green though. I have so many neutral pieces already that I really need to spice up my wardrobe.

Yes! I couldn't agree more with this. I'm eager to see Zara's spring collection since last year's was bursting with colorful staples like Blair's pink pants! Time for me to hop on board. xx

ReplyDeleteLOVE it. i passed on a pair of royal blue french connection trousers several months ago and i've searched the internet for them high & low. oh well. i'm especially loving those with sailor button details.
ReplyDeleteI don't have any colored trousers yet-- I'm only just now foraying into colored jeans/cords (wearing some purple AG ones now!. But I do agree that they're very chic, and I wish I could pull them off like Atlantic Pacific!
