Every Friday at Sequins and Stripes, I will be sharing some outfits from my week. Because this has been a short week for my newbie blog, I decided to link up with {av} over at Long Distance Loving to give you a glimpse of my typical uniform. In the summertime, you will almost always find me in a dress or skirt with a pair of flats and some fun accessories. In the fall, dresses and boots until it is time to transition into my skinny jeans and a fishermen sweater. I try to purchase trendy pieces at a price that doesn't break the bank and I usually go for novelty over basics, or spruce up my basics with some fun accessories.

Olivia and Mira

Olivia is 25, Mira is 26. Olivia is a fashion model and style icon from New York City. Mira is Russian and editor at Harpers Bazaar Russia {yes, 26 years old and editor at Harpers Bazaar Russia, could you imagine?}. Both have a ridiculous sense of style, a swoon worthy wardrobe, and are the "IT Girls" of now. They are definitely two to follow. Here are a few investment pieces to help you compete:

Style Your Life

The idea behind Sequins and Stripes has been cooking for awhile. After working as a clothing buyer after college, I realized that my dreams of one day opening my own store had been overshadowed by a new found passion for styling. I finally decided that it was time to put my aspirations to fruition and what better way to do so than to start a blog. A blog about what I love: style.

I teamed up with one of my favorite bloggers, and friend, Alaina of LCY Graphics to create the perfect site for S&S. Not only is Alaina a rockstar blogger over at Live Creating Yourself, she is a phenomenal graphic designer and an absolute blast to work with. If you are looking to spruce up your website, blog, logo, etc., I could not recommend a better person to get the job done. The experience was wonderful {again}! Thank you, Alaina!
