Modern Day Madeline

"In an old house in Paris that was covered with vines, lived twelve little girls in two straight lines. They left the house at half past nine...the smallest one was Madeline."

When I was younger, I adored Madeline. She was always so lovely, sweet, and very well-dressed and being in Paris got me thinking...if Madeline were my age today, she would probably be one chic little lady. If I gave her collared shift dress and yellow cape an update, here is what I imagine Madeline would sport around the streets of Paris today:

  1. I love her! Madeline & Eloise were my two favorite books as a little girl. When I was in NYC last Oct I bought a copy of Eloise at the Plaza Hotel. Now I just need to buy a copy of Madeline in Paris!
